One of my favorite parts of taking pictures is taking pictures of people I know, its relaxing, fun and a great time to spend time with people that I love.

The best part about this shoot is that these are my parents!  22 years of marriage and I've never seen them more in love.  While getting a serious picture of my dad is always a challenge, these two are the picture perfect couple.

Jason & Lauren

I absolutely LOVE engagement shoots. It's a great way for me to get to know my couples while having a fun, relaxing time.  It's also a great way for me to get to know the kind of couple I will be working with over the next few months.

Most grooms are dragged along to the engagement sessions, and I'm sure if you ask Jason he'd say the same thing.  My favorite grooms are the tough guys that aren't interested in all the wedding plans and details.  Majority of these guys bloom during the photo session and start suggesting poses and different shots.  Jason even had a few of his own pictures taken without the bride!

I had a great time with Jason and Lauren today.  He can really make her laugh and it is so cute to see the love they have in their eyes when they look at each other. They are going to have such a beautiful wedding at Seven Falls!

McKeeman Wedding

Not only was this wedding going to be an exciting one because it was the first wedding for me of the season, but it was also of two of some very dear friends that I had met in College.

Jessica was one of the most relaxed brides I've ever been around on her wedding day. Not to mention she was absolutely stunning!
